Start your career as a web developer!

Would you like to learn how to create HTML and CSS code to develop the framework for websites and get paid for your time?

Coding is fun and ideally suited to logical, problem solver type personalities. The same skills that are used in data entry, accounting, bookkeeping and administration can also be used in web development. We believe in helping more people to learn to code and removing barriers from advancement into a new career.

Because we are one of the few modern web companies to code all our websites from the ground up, without relying on heavy, slow, off the shelf plugins, we need trainees with no experience in HTML or CSS who would like to learn a pure style of web development.

Trainees will need to study and learn from our web design shop in Biggleswade.

There will be 3 courses and applicants can decide at each stage if they would like to progress.

Stage 1: The basics of HTML & CSS – practical applications to build websites
Stage 2: Advanced HTML & CSS – developing code from the start yourself
Stage 3: Basic PHP – using formulae and working with databases

After which, successful trainees may be invited to apply for a permanent role.

About the training

We are a funky, dynamic, growing marketing agency established in 2003 based in the town centre of Biggleswade and we have an exciting new opportunity to train as a web developer.

No experience is necessary, as full instruction will be given, however, the ideal applicant will:

* Have a very strong attention to detail
* Be a natural problem solver
* Skilled in writing and understanding formulae using algebra
* Have GCSE qualifications in math and English
* Be task orientated
* Love working with computers

The course is run from our walk-in web design shop, using our in-house web platform and will progress from basic HTML and CSS to more complex versions with an opportunity to learn PHP going forward.

Salary is up to £12.50 per hour depending on the candidate.
